In a recent exclusive interview with Sky News, the renowned comedian and actor Kevin Hart candidly shared his decision to avoid hosting prestigious awards like the Oscars in the future. Hart, who was initially slated to host the 2019 Oscars but withdrew amidst controversy over past anti-gay remarks, expressed his reservations about returning to the role of a host for such events.

Elaborating further on his decision, Hart emphasized, “Those just aren’t comedy-friendly environments anymore. I think they got it right one year where it was just a bunch of personalities acting as the hosts, and that’s a nice thing.” He stressed the evolving dynamics of award show hosting, suggesting that it has become a collaborative effort rather than a platform primarily tailored for comedians.

Capital Radio has launched a pop-up station dedicated to all things Taylor Swift ahead of the pop superstar kicking off the UK leg of her Eras tour.

The US singer, 34, will perform for three consecutive nights at Murrayfield Stadium, Edinburgh, from Friday before moving to Liverpool, Cardiff and London.

The new station will allow fans of the pop star, known as Swifties, the chance to listen to their favourite artist all day “until its So Long, London”.

Capital (Taylor’s Version) will play hits from across her 11 studio album, as well as offering trivia on the artist.

Capital has said it is the first time in the UK that a national DAB radio station has been dedicated to a single artist.
