Eugene Levy and his son Dan Levy continue to make Emmy history. Four years ago, their comedy series “Schitt’s Creek” won a staggering nine Emmys including best comedy series, actor, actress, supporting actors, writing and directing. Even before “Schitt’s Creek,” Eugene was no stranger to the Emmy universe, winning statutes in 1982 and 1983 as a writer on the beloved “SCTV.”  In fact, Dan was just a month old when his dad received his second honor.

Bob Barker, longtime 'The Price Is Right' host, dies at 99 – MSN

(KTLA) – Bob Barker, the longtime host of the gameshow “The Price is Right,” has died at the age of 99.

Barker’s publicist Roger Neal confirmed his death to Nexstar on Saturday. Neal told Nexstar that Barker died “peacefully” at his Hollywood Hills home around 8 a.m. Pacific time.

“It is with profound sadness that we announce that the World’s Greatest MC who ever lived, Bob Barker, has left us,” Neal said in a statement included with his PR firm’s obituary of Barker.

Tech giants Google and Microsoft each consumed 24 TWh each of electricity during 2023, surpassing the consumption of more than 100 countries, new research has claimed.

Analysis by Michael Thomas, shared on X, claims both Google and Microsoft consumed the same amount of energy as Azerbaijan, which has an estimated GDP of $78.7 billion. Google’s 2023 revenue stood at $307.4 billion, and Microsoft’s at $211.9 billion.

Tech firms consume more than many countries

Iceland, Ghana, the Dominican Republic and Tunisia each consumed 19 TWh, while Jordan consumed 20 TWh, highlighting the two tech firms’ immense scale. Libya (25 TWh) and Slovakia (26 TWh) consumed slightly more power.
