Bowen Yang knows Travis Kelce is his friend for life.

The Saturday Night Live star, 33, revealed that he has stayed in touch with the Kansas City Chiefs tight end following his SNL hosting gig in March 2023. Kelce, 34, and girlfriend Taylor Swift also made a surprise appearance on the season 49 premiere last year.

“He is my straight male friend for life,” he shared in an interview with the Los Angeles Times at the 2024 Emmys. “Travis, I love you.”

Ryan Gosling Lost His Voice Night Before Hosting ‘SNL,’ Reveals Bowen Yang

Bowen Yang just shared a new insight into Ryan Gosling‘s epic 2024 SNL hosting gig.

In an interview with E! on the 2024 Emmys red carpet, Yang opened up about his time on Saturday Night Live, including the April 13 episode Gosling hosted. Explaining what his must-haves for his dressing room are, he offered a surprising — and hilarious — answer.

“I have a throat mister that Ryan Gosling borrowed for his episode because he lost his voice the night before,” Yang said. “I have not washed it since.” The episode earned Gosling, 43, his first Emmy nomination, for guest actor in a comedy series.

Yang, who is up for outstanding supporting actor in a comedy series, said he was stunned by the nomination initially.

The El Paso Chihuahuas are hosting a Scooby-Doo Night to end August

Baseball is easily one of America’s most popular sports and loads of teams host fun events including the El Paso Chihuahuas.

Not only is their team named after a dog, but they’re making sure to show some love to one of our favorite cartoon dogs: Scooby-Doo. On August 31st, the team is hosting its very own Scooby-Doo Night.

The Chihuahuas are taking on the Tacoma Rainiers at the Southwest University Park and they aren’t sparing any details. In an article shared by a local CBS station, “According to the team, the Chihuahuas players will be decked out in limited-edition Scooby-Doo themed jerseys during the game. Baltimore Orioles host first-ever ‘Faith Night,’ players share ‘what God has done’ 

The Baltimore Orioles, a Major League Baseball team, hosted its first-ever “Faith Night” on Aug. 13. Six players — including starting pitcher Trevor Rogers and All-Star shortstop Gunnar Henderson — shared their testimonies of faith to thousands of fans after their game against the Washington Nationals.

The event included a time of worship and praise with a live performance by Reach Worship, a group from Reach Church, a nondenominational church in Newark, Delaware.

Speak of the Devil hosting mezcal tasting and education night

Mezcal is a misunderstood spirit in the United States, according to Kurt Hernon, owner of Speak of the Devil, 201 W. Fifth St. in downtown Lorain.

Hernon said he and his crew of bartenders are hoping to change that.

The business will host a mezcal tasting and education night with four varieties of the spirit July 16, complete with food to pair with each of their four offerings.

The big misunderstanding of mezcal comes partially from the spirit’s relation to tequila, Hernon explained.

“It’s related to tequila, but it’s not tequila; it’s its own thing,” he said. “(Mezcal) is derived from a multitude of varying plants from the agave family and generally in America.
