A widely shared Facebook post and tweet uses the price of Heinz Beanz to claim that junior doctors are paid £14 an hour.

The Facebook post has been shared more than 4,500 times. A version shared by another popular Facebook account has also been shared more than 4,000 times.

The Labour MP Barry Sheerman also shared the post on Twitter, but added a clarification following contact from Full Fact.

Twitter Inc., which has a new CEO and new largest shareholder in Elon Musk, saw its legal chief Vijaya Gadde receive a roughly 130% pay raise in 2021.

Gadde’s total compensation was more than $16.9 million last year, the San Francisco-based company disclosed in a preliminary annual proxy statement filed April 1. That’s up from the roughly $7.3 million she earned in 2020.

The securities filing came before Musk, the high-profile head of Tesla Inc., on Monday became Twitter’s largest investor by taking a 9.2% stake in the company.
