Ryan Gosling Lost His Voice Night Before Hosting ‘SNL,’ Reveals Bowen Yang

Bowen Yang just shared a new insight into Ryan Gosling‘s epic 2024 SNL hosting gig.

In an interview with E! on the 2024 Emmys red carpet, Yang opened up about his time on Saturday Night Live, including the April 13 episode Gosling hosted. Explaining what his must-haves for his dressing room are, he offered a surprising — and hilarious — answer.

“I have a throat mister that Ryan Gosling borrowed for his episode because he lost his voice the night before,” Yang said. “I have not washed it since.” The episode earned Gosling, 43, his first Emmy nomination, for guest actor in a comedy series.

Yang, who is up for outstanding supporting actor in a comedy series, said he was stunned by the nomination initially.

Ryan Seacrest’s ‘Wheel of Fortune’ debut left out Pat Sajak’s name after ex-host spotted with Vanna White

As Ryan Seacrest kicked off his big debut on “Wheel of Fortune,” Monday night, he left out the longtime host, Pat Sajak’s, name in his introduction.

Although Seacrest, 49, recognized he had stepped into a major role, he did not mention Sajak’s name when he opened the show. 

“And now together for the first time, here are the stars of our show, Ryan Seacrest and Vanna White!” announcer Jim Thornton said during the show’s opener.

Coming off the seasoned heels of the beloved Pat Sajak, host extraordinaire Ryan Seacrest has officially clocked in for his newest gig, Wheel of Fortune.

On Monday September 9, Seacrest made his awaited debut and fans did not hesitate to take to social media to share their opinions of the game show’s new host.

“Seems like Ryan was trained very well for this. He’s doing a great job,” noted one fan on X (formerly known as Twitter). “I figured Ryan would be pretty decent. So far, so good,” another agreed.

Ryan Seacrest makes ‘Wheel of Fortune’ host debut, kicks off new era with Vanna White

Ryan Seacrest has kicked off a new era of “Wheel of Fortune” with his co-host, Vanna White.

Seacrest made his debut Monday for season 42 of the iconic game show and began the show by walking out on the new set with White.

“So happy to be here with you,” Seacrest told White. “Let’s have fun.”
