Disney Plus Password-Sharing Crackdown: Here’s What Sharing Will Cost You

Disney Plus subscribers in the US will pay a little extra to share their streaming accounts. The Walt Disney Company plans to enforce its new account-sharing policies by implementing a $7 monthly fee for customers on the Disney Plus basic, ad-supported plan and a $10-a-month charge for those with premium subscriptions. The company shared the announcement on its website Wednesday.

Beginning this week, the service will charge an additional fee each month for subscribers in the US, Canada, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Europe and in the Asia-Pacific area who want to share their account with anyone outside of their household. New Radio 1 host Jamie Laing has been slammed by fans for making a dig at Jordan North while bragging about the success of his show. 

The former Made In Chelsea star, 35, took over from Jordan’s Drivetime slot earlier this year and took to Instagram on Thursday to share a private company email which detailed the listener growth over the past few months. 

But his post proved to be controversial by followers who deemed it was unnecessary to drag Jordan down to promote his own success. 

Jordan moved to rival Capital FM to takeover the Breakfast show from Roman Kemp after 10 years at Radio 1.

Jamie Laing has been slammed by his fans after he shared a confidential work email from the BBC with his followers.

The former Made In Chelsea star Jamie, 35, currently works for the BBC, hosting a Radio 1 show alongside Vick Hope and Katie Thistleton.

The star has been working in this role since the start of the year when it was announced he’d be taking over Jordan North’s former Drivetime slot, a decision some blasted for being ‘classist’.

Bending the rules with his current employer, the presenter took to Instagram to reveal the success of the show as it was praised in an internal email for performing well in the last quarter.
