More than 100 people attended a June 18 kickoff event for Wellesley’s strategic housing plan, a Town Meeting-approved effort to address the need for more housing options in town. (See Wellesley Media recording.)

The plan would succeed Wellesley’s housing production plan, released in 2018 to help the town achieve a 10% threshold of affordable housing stock that would fend off unfriendly 40B projects.

ALLENTOWN, Pa. – A new shared creative space is “helping people write their stories,” allowing individuals of all artistic backgrounds to showcase their talents in Lehigh County.

Inkwell., a venue designed, equipped and dedicated to fostering creative exploration, opened a few months ago at 1125 Hamilton St. in Allentown.

A photo showing flames and smoke coming from a ship has been shared on social media with the caption “German warship retreats from Yemen after unsuccessful mission.”

But this is an old photo and does not show a ship anywhere near Yemen.

The picture is actually a screenshot from a video of an explosion on a German warship caused by a misfired missile during a training exercise off the coast of Norway in 2018. Two German sailors reportedly suffered minor injuries and an image of the aftermath shared by the German navy showed part of the damage done to the ship.

The annual festivities are upon us once again, and we’re kicking things off with the Baeksang Arts Awards 2024, which will be held on May 7, 2024.

Recently, it was revealed that Shin Dong Yup, Suzy, and Park Bo Gum will be returning as hosts for this year’s award show. Notably, this isn’t their first stint together; this trio also helmed the ceremonies last year and in 2022. Prior to that, in 2021, the hosting duties were shared by Shin Dong Yup and Suzy. The announcement of their return has been met with positive reactions, as many are pleased to see them team up once again.
