In terms of CPU something with 10 cores / 20 threads or so would be good. I’m a bit behind the times on this front so I’m open to suggestions.
I can certainly setup a VPN if required.

I’ve been looking for decent colocation offers over the last few weeks where I can send or bring my own server equipment without having to pay hundreds of Euros a month for a 100 Mbit port, 5-10TB traffic, or if I’m lucky, 200 Mbit bandwidth with unlimited traffic.
When I look at these public offers, I don’t understand how some providers can offer dedicated servers with decent hardware and 10 Gbps unmetered bandwidth for under 999 Euros a month.
I get that buying this kind of server is costly, but are these companies operating at a loss? It just doesn’t add up.
