You will have to excuse me.

There are some great providers active on this forum, both managed and unmanaged. I haven’t tried any managed providers as we manage our servers in-house. I have used some unmanaged ones, some of them are great, some are not so much. There are a lot more that I haven’t tested that are equally great.

If I name a few, I would have to leave out the other great providers that I haven’t tested. I don’t want to do that.

But that shouldn’t prevent you from finding one if you keep your eyes open.

Fiberstate 3 Months Review | Web Hosting Talk

So few months back while looking for a dedicated server, this company’s ads were all over to be seen on the sides . I took a look at their website and was’nt convinced, it was still being made in divi and not complete. Nevertheless , as the ads always were there, i took a look a week later and things were looking better . Being with contabo for a while, i had played with fire before so i took my chances here. I messaged them for a quote and bang came a very good quote of 59.9$ for a ryzen 7 5700G , 128GB Ram 2x1TB NVME and 2 IPv4 addresses.

I signedup as one of my OVH Server commitment was coming to an end and the server was delivered in about 3-4 hours, just exactly as it was asked for.

I felt a little sluggishness over their network during few hours and suggested they move…

I get where you are coming from. We also have servers with DA that never had any issues.

One point to note is that all of these servers have CloudLinux and LiteSpeed and, hence, do not use many of the DA’s native features. Of course, this doesn’t necessarily indicate anything.

I also noticed my experience with DA is not the same as yours. For example, most of my customers generally dislike DA. They either switch back to cPanel or leave. On the…

For the static files.

1 Tb = 10^12 bytes.

If your files have 10^4 bytes on average, then
your site hits the storage ~ 10^8 times per month.

The ordinary mechanical HDD can serve
this load, if it will be distributed steadily.

Yet better, if the files, which are
requested frequently, are cached.

The problem is, that the load may
have the sharp peaks, during which the
mechanical HDD may be too slow.

If your files are not static,
but are generated on the fly,
especially with many requests
to the storage for every file
(like the pages from the content
management systems), then,
most probably, the mechanical
HDD will not be able to serve
your load during the peaks.
