The Year’s Best International Crime Series

Since technology is not going anywhere and does more good than harm, adapting is the best course of action. That is where The Tech Edvocate comes in. We plan to cover the PreK-12 and Higher Education EdTech sectors and provide our readers with the latest news and opinion on the subject. From time to time, I will invite other voices to weigh in on important issues in EdTech. We hope to provide a well-rounded, multi-faceted look at the past, present, the future of EdTech in the US and internationally.

We started this journey back in June 2016, and we plan to continue it for many more years to come. I hope that you will join us in this discussion of the past, present and future of EdTech and lend your own insight to the issues that are discussed.

NFL Combine could be leaving Indy in 2026 after 37 years of hosting the event

INDIANAPOLIS — No one hosts the modern NFL Combine better than Indianapolis considering they are the only city to host it since 1987.

“It’s a sense of pride to have the NFL back here in our city for the Combine,” shared Visit Indy Executive Vice President Chris Gahl.

For 37 years, Indianapolis has been a prime host.

“It’s our connectivity and walkability,” explained Gahl. “It’s the idea that no matter the weather, you stay in hotels that are connected through climate controlled skywalks into our convention center into the stadium. That walkability is unprecedented in any other city in the nation.”

John Travolta ‘proud’ to host Harry – 40 years after dancefloor spin with Diana

John Travolta has spoken of his pride at hosting Britain’s Prince Harry at an aviation awards ceremony, almost 40 years after he danced with his mother at the White House.

Harry was recognised for his work as a British army veteran and pilot at the ceremony and in his speech he told Travolta it would be fitting for them to fly together after the actor famously spun his mother, Princess Diana, around the dancefloor.

He said: “I was just a one-year-old when you danced with my mum at the White House, and now look at us. The only thing left to do is… not dance together but fly together.”

Diana, who died following a car…

Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2024 Ratings Up – Billboard

Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve With Ryan Seacrest 2024, a marathon, 5-1/2 hour production which eased ABC TV viewers into the new year, saw ratings increases in all four time quadrants measured, from the start of prime-time until late-late hours.

The show, which Dick Clark originated in 1972, has ballooned over the years in hours of programming, just as the title of the show has expanded. Clark’s name remains in the title nearly a dozen years after his death, a unique and rare show of respect from a network for a long-time network star.

Ryan Seacrest, 49, is six years older than Clark was when the show launched. Seacrest shared hosting duties this year with Rita Ora and Jeannie Mai.
