TCS Is Forcing 2000 Employees To Relocate; Gets Notice From Labor Dept After 300+ Complaints Received By NITES – Trak.in

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), a leading IT player, finds itself under scrutiny as the Maharashtra labour department issues a notice regarding its employee transfer practices. The notice follows a complaint filed by the Nascent Information Technology Employees Senate (NITES), representing IT workers, against TCS for its alleged unethical transfer practices.

NITES has presented more than 300 complaints, alleging that TCS has been systematically compelling over 2,000 employees to relocate to different cities without proper notice or consultation. According to Harpreet Singh Saluja, President of NITES, the company has resorted to threats of disciplinary actions against non-compliance with the transfer directions.
