Tyra Banks has shared her thoughts on being replaced by Julianne Hough in the Dancing With The Stars ballroom. Tyra was the host of the dancing competition for three years. She took over the role after longtime host Tom Bergeron and his co-host Erin Andrews were allegedly fired from the show. Tyra hosted two seasons by herself before being joined by co-host Alfonso Ribeiro.
In March, Tyra announced her departure from DWTS. Although she enjoyed hosting the dancing competition each week, she felt it was time to step away. The news came both as a shock and excitement as Tyra’s hosting skills were not loved by many longtime fans of the show. Although Tyra is leaving the show, Alfonso will continue to co-host for the upcoming season.
