Field Hockey Hosts Monmouth in Pride Game on Sunday

NEW YORK – After traveling to Providence, R.I. on Saturday for an Ivy League clash with Brown, the Lions face a quick turnaround, hosting Monmouth University in a nonconference bout on Sunday at 3:00 p.m. The meeting with the Hawks is the Pride Game for Columbia, celebrating LGBTQ+ History Month. The first 100 fans in attendance get a free PROUD bracelet. 
 
The Lions enter the weekend as the Ivy League leader in total saves, racking up 69 as a team. Katie Wimmer is responsible for 68 of those saves, good enough for first in the conference. Last weekend, Columbia faced Cornell and Delaware in the first back-to-back of the season. The Lions…
