Daily Show Taps Jordan Klepper, Ronny Chieng to Co-Host Tues-Thurs This Week

The Daily Show is going the co-host route again this week, with correspondent Ronny Chieng set to share the desk with contributor Jordan Klepper Tuesday-Thursday this week.

It’s the second time this season that the show has opted to pair two members of its news team for a week-long stint. (Michael Kosta and Desi Lydic shared hosting duties for a week in early March.)

Klepper is tied with Kosta and Lydic for the most weeks spent behind the The Daily Show desk this season; each have been tapped for week-long solo stints three times, and now one week as co-host. Ronny Chieng and Dulce Sloan have each hosted the show solo once. .

On Monday, the Latin American Music Awards announced that Becky G will help host the awards show scheduled for April 25. The Mexican American musician will share the hosting mic with stars Alejandra Espinoza, Carlos Ponce, and Thalia, and will also perform her recent single “Mercedes” alongside Oscar Maydon.
