DULUTH, MN. (Northern News Now) – Mix Cosmetiques is hosting a few Halloween makeup workshops just in time for the spooky holiday.

Lanae Rhoads owns Mix Cosmetiques in the Twin Ports, creating organic versions of common, and special event makeup.

“I make custom, organic makeup,” Rhoads said.

She originally began her business because she wanted to find a more sustainable and safer option for commonly used makeup.

“Organic makeup is better for the planet, it’s better for your skin and it’s plant-based rather than synthetic or microplastics-based and so you’re actually putting plants and all of those beneficial ingredients on your skin,” she said.

Not only does Rhoades host private events for people to make their own cosmetics, but she also hosts timely workshops.

Royal sisters Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie have shared a close bond since childhood, and it seems that they’re enjoying a joint holiday with their families this summer.

The Princesses were reportedly among the first royals to arrive at Balmoral Castle this week, where King Charles is hosting extended members of his family.  

Beatrice, 35, and her property developer husband, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, are parents to daughter Sienna, who turns two next month. Edoardo also has a seven-year-old son, Christopher Woolf, known as Wolfie, from his previous relationship with Dara Huang.

Meanwhile, Eugenie, 33, and her husband, Jack Brooksbank, are parents to two-year-old August and also welcomed their second son, Ernest, in May.

Kelly Ripa is reminiscing about an Italian getaway long ago!

The Live with Kelly and Ryan host, 52, shared a sweet throwback photo on Thursday featuring her husband Mark Consuelos and son Michael in Italy. She captioned the Instagram post: “#tbt Italian holiday 🇮🇹 @michael.consuelos atop @instasuelos circa 1998 #daddy“

In the comments section, users couldn’t help but point out the resemblance between Mark, now 51, and his son, now 25, who is also an actor.

“Michael looks so much like his daddy! And I think Joaquin looks like you, Kelly,” one user wrote, referring to the couple’s 20-year-old son. Another added, “Omg. Mark is Michael. Michael is Mark.”

Ripa and Mark also share daughter Lola, 21.
