Bowen Yang just shared a new insight into Ryan Gosling‘s epic 2024 SNL hosting gig.

In an interview with E! on the 2024 Emmys red carpet, Yang opened up about his time on Saturday Night Live, including the April 13 episode Gosling hosted. Explaining what his must-haves for his dressing room are, he offered a surprising — and hilarious — answer.

“I have a throat mister that Ryan Gosling borrowed for his episode because he lost his voice the night before,” Yang said. “I have not washed it since.” The episode earned Gosling, 43, his first Emmy nomination, for guest actor in a comedy series.

Yang, who is up for outstanding supporting actor in a comedy series, said he was stunned by the nomination initially.

When most people take on a new job, they don’t need to worry about millions of people’s eyeballs watching from the first day onward, but such is life for new Wheel of Fortune host Ryan Seacrest, who is taking over for the retired icon Pat Sajak when the new season hits the upcoming Fall TV schedule. It’s been a long time coming, but his debut is fast approaching, and he’s opened up about his excitement and the slice of wisdom he immediately received from Sajak and Vanna White.

Seacrest appeared on Good Morning America opposite White, who’d previously talked about being nervous to have a new co-host after 40+ years, and addressed that even though he’s got the moves down and has started filming, the sense of glee has yet to fade. In his words:

Travel writer and TV host Rick Steves has been diagnosed with prostate cancer.

On Wednesday, Aug. 21, Steves, 69, shared on X (formerly known as Twitter) that he was preparing to have surgery at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center-Seattle this fall, but was remaining thankful and positive.

“I’d like to take a moment to share some important news. I have been diagnosed with prostate cancer,” the Rick Steves’ Europe star began. “My doctor assures me that, if you’re going to get cancer, this is a good kind to get, and careful scans show no sign of it having spread.” 

“There is a clear path forward to getting healthy, and this fall, I’ll be in the hospital for a few days having prostate surgery,” he added.
