This hugely dangerous new DoS attack could crash web servers with just a single connection

Cybersecurity researchers have recently discovered a new vulnerability in the HTTP/2 protocol, which allows threat actors to mount denial of service (DoS) attacks and even crash servers with a single TCP connection.

The vulnerability relates to the use of HTTP/2 CONTINUATION frames, which is why the researcher who found it, Barket Nowotarski, dubbed it “CONTINUATION Flood”.

Star Wars fans created dedicated servers with mod support for EA's Battlefront 2 – MSN

Uniting under the banner of KYBER Team, passionate and talented fans of EA’s Star Wars Battlefront 2 – not to be mixed up with the recently remastered original from Pandemic – did what was once thought impossible: They created a system of dedicated servers for the title, which includes full mod support, a server browser, automatic mod installation, and many additional features you’d never expect from a fan project.

KYBER V2, as the project is called, comes with its own launcher for Battlefront 2, making it independent of EA’s own applications.

Players can take advantage of the new proximity voice chat for some additional immersive chaos and track their stats – not just from community servers, but also from official ones.

Sharing IP Addresses On Shared Servers Is Normal & Fine For Google Rankings

Google’s John Mueller for the umpteenth time said that sharing IP addresses and/or having your site on a shared server and/or using a CDN that does all of that, is fine for Google Search, SEO and ranking. In fact, he said it is “normal” for sites to do this.

John wrote on X, “There are a limited number of IP addresses, it’s normal for them to be shared.” This was in response to the concern that sharing IPs or hosting with spammy sites can hurt your SEO:

I mean, there are super rare cases where Google has banned hosts completely and wipped out a whole ccTLD of sorts. But that is super rare, which I guess is where the rumors started from.
